The 3 Kinds of People: Which One are You?

“The rich and poor have 24 hours a day; the only difference is how they spend it.”--- this was a quote I read somewhere and it made me wonder. People can have the same education, acquire the same skills, but earn different income. I personally refuse to believe in fate for I believe that people are responsible for the life that they create. However, in my own opinion, it’s hard to classify people in two categories only; rich and poor. Just like how success is different for everyone because what is satisfying for one may not be as satisfying for others; categorizing people is not as easy as classifying them into two.

In fact, even poor people has buying power of designer’s clothes and other expensive stuff. However, it doesn’t mean that they are financially independent. The way I observe it, there are 3 kinds of people; the common, the average and the brilliant. These three have different attitudes when it comes to spending habit, decision making, dealing with problems, and lifestyles that result to the kind of life that they live. So, which one are you?

SPENDING HABIT

The Common. When it comes to extra cash, common people love to give themselves a reward and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, making this a habit is not really very advisable because you don’t want to possess a bunch of things that won’t really benefit you in the long run. As you grow older, these stuffs depreciate and what will you do with a bunch of things that don’t really have much value?

The Average. Average people place their extra money on savings or insurance. They secure themselves first because they know that nothing is permanent. One of their assets is preparing ahead of time. Although putting it on savings may help the money to grow very slowly, it is way better than spending it all.

The Brilliant. So, what does brilliant people do with their extra money? The answer is simple; being the wisest among the three, they know exactly what is best to do with extra money and that is multiplying it. And they are good at it.

DECISION MAKING

The Common. When it comes to decision making, common people tend to delay any decision they have to make. They avoid confrontation as much as possible. Most of the time, their decisions are based on convenience rather than coherent thinking. They also let other people decide for them and settle with whatever outcome it may bring, resulting to a more complicated circumstances.

Average. When it comes to decision making, average people decide well. However, their decisions are most of the time have short-term effect. They are good at damage control and able think rationally in times of pressure. Their decision may not always be the right one but it’s always the best for a given moment in time.

The Brilliant. They are practical people and decisions are always functional for long term period. When they decide, it’s always final. They may ask for advice but very randomly apply it. They come up with their own decision that is tailored made for a given situation and always take responsibility for it.

DEALING with PROBLEMS

The Common. Common people are not very consistent when it comes to facing their own problems. It’s either they panic so much and overthink or they just deny the existence of it. The only time that they take the problem seriously is when they had no choice but to actually face it.

The Average. When it comes to solving problems, average people are forecaster. They anticipate the problem ahead of time and do something about it to avoid it. They save time, energy and money by foreseeing what could be potential problems and fix it before it even come to existence.

The Brilliant. When it comes to dealing with problems, brilliant people are the real game changer. They can simply turn any kind of challenge to their advantage. In fact, brilliant people perceive problems differently. They basically convert problems into opportunity and money.

LIFESTYLE
The Common. Common people always have the latest stuff which is most of the time, expensive. They have the finest taste in a lot of things. In fact, they are more worried of not being on the trend. They usually live above their means without worrying of tomorrow resulting to debts and being broke.

The Average. These people usually have better jobs and they live within their means. They also love to travel and it makes them more cultured than the common. However, instead of investing, they get liabilities thus, not allowing the money to further grow. This is one reason why they keep living an average life when in fact, they have the ability to bring their life to the next level.

The Brilliant. Brilliant people are very few. Regardless of what job they landed on, they always end up successfully in whatever field or industry. One thing that they master is one secret that everyone should start learning; the art of compromising the less important things to the things with more value. They live below their means. Instead of purchasing the latest and most expensive stuff, they invest it in things with higher value like real estate and this is only one of their characteristics that makes them wealthier than the rest.

So now that you understand the behavioral patterns of these three kinds of people and their attitude on spending, decision making, dealing with problems and lifestyle, which classification do you think you belong? It doesn’t really take a genius to be in brilliant state. Truth is among anyone else, you are the only one who knows what’s best for you. However, knowing what’s best is not enough. You have to do it. -M.D

What the Elites Don’t Want You to Know

‘You are the author of your life.’ I’m sure you have heard this a thousand times before as this cliché has been said by a lot of great speakers to motivate their audience. But somehow, you most likely believe that some lives are authored by bloodline especially for people who are born with a silver spoon in the mouth. And you know that the quote ‘ You are the author of your life ’ is only applicable to regular people so that they couldn’t blame anyone for the poverty and scarcity they experience. -The Trap- Now let me tell you some truths that might shock the very core of you. The things that the world and the media has led you to believe are façade and lies to stop you from being free from the trap. And when I say trap, I mean that 9-5 job you’ve signed for. Trap is the routine that you do, an endless cycle of going to work, receiving your paycheck monthly, that’s not even enough to cover all the dues. Trap is also the miserable and dangerous world that you believe you are ...

A Gem Not Far From a Crowded City

Is your dream house unaffordable? Try looking for it in Fergus.   Fergus is the largest community in Centre Wellington, a township within Wellington County in Ontario and it is just a bit over one hour drive from Mississauga and Toronto. It lies on the Grand River about 18 km NNW of Guelph. The population of this community at the time of the 2016 Census was 20,767, but the community is growing as new homes are being built for sale. Fergus became an independent town until 1999 when the Township was formed by amalgamating Fergus, the Village of Elora, Ontario and the Townships of Nichol, Pilkington, West Garafraxa and a part of Eramosa. Fergus is has a number of natural settings such as the Elora Gorge and Conservation Area, and Belwood Lake. It is a mostly residential community filled with streets lined with trees, many stone buildings, modern schools, and many parklands suitable for recreation and picnics. It is laid out on a rectangular grid, with the Grand R...

Three Things Every Businessman Must Have

Maybe you are curious what it takes to be a successful businessman. Truth is, the things that I had learned more from them by merely observing them is twice as much than what I learned from the entire time I sat on my business management class from college. Here are the three things I believe that every successful businessman should have regardless of the field or business industry you are in.  1. Consistent Energy. In anything, consistency is always the name of the game. In business, consistency of the energy is one deciding factor whether the business will prosper or not. What is very consistent with all the successful people is the fire, the drive, and the passion. They just don’t let the vibe die. I guess enthusiasm is the word.  If you are not as enthusiastic and excited as before, your clients/customers would actually feel it. Whether you believe it or not, everything is made up of energy. Even your place of business has a vibe itself. I can still remember when...
