The Business Myths

Here are some business myths that I’d like you to understand. Whether you are planning to start up a business or you are currently having one, here are the false beliefs that can guide you to grow your business. 1. The business is enough to sustain a family. This is the common mindset of some people who are planning to start up a business. Some of them quit their jobs and just focus on their business. Well, somehow, it depends on the number of people that the business will support. If you are single, then this will most likely work for you. But having a family and having one business alone cannot sustain all your family needs except of course if your business is in real estate, having number of rental properties, then that should be enough. However, if you’re capital is limited and you have start up a business, I suggest that you don’t quit your job yet or at least have another investment. I know that being hands on in the business is important but if it is the only sourc...

The Millionaire’s Habits

One of my most favorite verse in the bible is Mark 11:24 and it says; “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Some people miss the middle part believe that you have received it. I am not here to debate whether law of attraction works. I am here to point out the principle of praying, asking or wishing, or whatever you may want to call it. One of the principle that has worked over the years is acting as if. In my book 21-day-project, I have stressed out that you have to match your habits with the lifestyle that you desire. The whole concept is as simple as this; if you want to be a singer, you’d most likely learn tips from a singer. If you want to be fit, you’d most likely go to a gym and follow your gym instructor. In the same way, if you want to be a millionaire, I suggest you observe all the multi-millionaire that you know. Discover their habits and characters. So, what are the millionaire’s habits? ...

How to be a Millionaire Salesman

Being a salesperson is something that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s not very easy to be a sales man but if you are going to think about it, each of us is a sales person at some degree. Whenever we deal with other people, talk to people, convince people, win approval, these are all selling in different forms. We sell ourselves the way we present ourselves on a daily basis.  Brian Tracy has once said that if you are in the field of sales, you are already one step closer to the way to wealth. You have the biggest chance to be a millionaire among all the other people who work in different fields once you are a sales person. So, what does it really take to be a millionaire salesman? 1. Prestige. There’s a quote that says that we are not defined by our clothes or physical appearance but we define ourselves. There might be some truths in that but sadly, it is not very applicable when you’re a salesperson. The thing is, it’s hard to project something when the energy th...

Why Some Business Fail?

So, you have started a business. You have the vision, your business is original, you have the money to start it, but how will you keep the business going? I know a lot of businesses that started quite well but sadly, they didn’t last very long. It could be because of mismanagement of money and people, lack of focus, poor customer service, and there’s just a lot of factors why some business fails and it all boils down to one thing; the lack of discipline. The person of disciplined basically control their lives. Whether it is about self-improvement, financial success or managing your own business, discipline is indeed one necessary skill to acquire. However, not everyone is aware of it. In fact, discipline is one essential skill that most schools have never really paid much attention to. Do you even know why the very first skill to learn in military is making bed? If you are going to think about it, seems like it’s not much of a help when they’re in a battle but the first lesson on...

What the Elites Don’t Want You to Know

‘You are the author of your life.’ I’m sure you have heard this a thousand times before as this cliché has been said by a lot of great speakers to motivate their audience. But somehow, you most likely believe that some lives are authored by bloodline especially for people who are born with a silver spoon in the mouth. And you know that the quote ‘ You are the author of your life ’ is only applicable to regular people so that they couldn’t blame anyone for the poverty and scarcity they experience. -The Trap- Now let me tell you some truths that might shock the very core of you. The things that the world and the media has led you to believe are façade and lies to stop you from being free from the trap. And when I say trap, I mean that 9-5 job you’ve signed for. Trap is the routine that you do, an endless cycle of going to work, receiving your paycheck monthly, that’s not even enough to cover all the dues. Trap is also the miserable and dangerous world that you believe you are ...

Three Things Every Businessman Must Have

Maybe you are curious what it takes to be a successful businessman. Truth is, the things that I had learned more from them by merely observing them is twice as much than what I learned from the entire time I sat on my business management class from college. Here are the three things I believe that every successful businessman should have regardless of the field or business industry you are in.  1. Consistent Energy. In anything, consistency is always the name of the game. In business, consistency of the energy is one deciding factor whether the business will prosper or not. What is very consistent with all the successful people is the fire, the drive, and the passion. They just don’t let the vibe die. I guess enthusiasm is the word.  If you are not as enthusiastic and excited as before, your clients/customers would actually feel it. Whether you believe it or not, everything is made up of energy. Even your place of business has a vibe itself. I can still remember when...

Deciding the Right Business for You

So, you have finally realized that having a regular job will never help you achieve the financial freedom that you want and decided to put up a business. Congratulations. Realization that your current situation will not magically improve on its own while you’re staying on a 9-5 job, and that you need additional source of income, is actually the first step to achieving financial independence. If you already have the capital but you’re still confused on which kind of business to invest in, I think this article will help you decide what is the right business for you. If you are a beginner, I’d like you to focus on the two types of business to consider of; Service and Products. It is also important to know what the two businesses will require you, including the pros and cons of the two. Service . The good thing about service is that it doesn’t really cost you a thing. If you are selling your service to a particular field you are expert in, this saves you from all the hassles of ...

Build Your Corporation and Build Your Empire

Are you thinking to start your business?  You are in the right track.  C ongratulations!  You are on your road to freedom, not only to financial freedom but the freedom from the bondage of “employee mentality.”  You will be your own boss.  However, you have to avoid another possible bondage, that is the bondage of being employed by your own business.  Being a single proprietor (or even partnership) makes you a “self-employed” person, which is essentially an employee still.  Dont get me wrong, you can run a business under single proprietorship and partnership type but make sure that you dont do all the work.  Make sure that even when you are not around, your business still runs.  It should not be dependent on you. T here is another type of business called a corporation.  This type of business is unique and has been commonly used by the business that we knew, the big companies and there are reasons why they use this type compared ...
